A photo a day, it's a simple concept.
Instead of sitting here agonizing about what I could talk about that anyone would find remotely interesting, I have decided that posting a photo each day is a much better (i.e. lazier) way to keep a blog.
About a year ago I stumbled across a photoblog, and thought, "What a cool idea. I should do that."
Well, here I am.

More experimenting with vignette.

21/10/10
Oh yes, the time is upon us. I am well and truly running out of things to take pictures of-  get ready to see a lot of photos of my cats.

20/10/10
Wednesday was a strange weather day indeed.

19/10/10
For Harrie : Because I said I would.

Monday, 18 October 2010

Possibly the most boring chemistry experiment we've ever done (though heating water in physics is a close contender). Anyway, we were finding the melting point of crystals of Benzoic acid crystals, it's 120.5 if anyone cares!
I do, however, have to point out that my phial thing (on the right) is much more professional than Harries. XD
17/10/10
Went to see Manic Street Preachers last night. Credit for this photo goes to Laura, I took my pebl and it's photo skills are not good. It was a fantastic gig, apart from the insane lady standing next to me who seemed to want nothing more than to jump on everyone around her. She soon quietened down after Jess kicked her, though.

Guess where i've been today? (:

15/10/10
This is a (crap and blurry, but panoramic thanks to vignette) shot of the mall in Norwich, as we went to vue to see 'The Social Network' last night. Laura drove us there, and it was an awesome movie.

14/10/10
I decided to download a new camera app today. (Anyone with an andriod - get Vignette) and this was one of my test shots.

12/10/10
Harrie stalked me home on Tuesday..and put koalas on her ears.

11/10/10
John and I decided to make Laura drive us somewhere; she took some persuading, and it took some navigating, but we ended up at Wallcott in the end.

10/10/10 ( :O )
What I fully expect to be the last nice day of the year.

Saturday, 9 October 2010

Tonight I had an awesome night. It was at apparently "the least posh sailing club in all of Norfolk" but there was food, and magic, so thanks Harrie! :D

It's funny how North Walsham can look almost nice sometimes. At night. When it's almost completely dark. And there are no chavs around..

Although strictly speaking the loss of a Thursday's picture (and my Thursday evening) wasn't UCAS's fault, it was uni related and therefore I blame UCAS.

Wednesday, 6 October 2010

This is what was left of the amazing sunset that I saw on my way home from the vets, the photo would be better but by the time I had gotten home and seized my camera (my phone had died) it was almost gone.

05/10/10
I don't think this is normal behaviour for a cat..

04/10/10
There may have been a slight spillage of my hot chocolate during tutorial on Monday.

Sunday, 3 October 2010

Me and Claire + amazing hats.
I had a good 'ole catch up with Claire today - we went shopping in Norwich. Now anyone that knows me will think "Amy? Shopping?!" Because, well lets just say shopping isn't my favourite thing, but it was actually a laugh :)

Saturday, 2 October 2010

I had my hair cut today, which will probably end up being the most interesting part of my day. No, that's not me, that is in fact my mother, having her hair cut by Barbara.
01/10/10, Friday
I only had one lesson yesterday, so I spent the majority of the day mooching around with Laura and Jess. This is a photo of Jess' cat Monty, who I made friends with while Jess and Laura were being boring and doing history.

Thursday, 30 September 2010

I just had a little photo excursion into my garden, and took this. I like it because for some reason it makes me think of aliens.

Wednesday, 29 September 2010

Haha, this is a brilliant photo. It was taken by Harrie during our Chem lesson (My phone had died) It was really cold in the science block as always, so we covered the work benches in bunsens, which was pretty awesome. Ed's face in the background is..interesting...:) Oh, and it drizzled all day again. Yey.

Tuesday, 28 September 2010

This is our (my, because i'm the only one that uses it) piano. And I love it. I spend half my time playing away and sounding according to my dad "like a heard of elephants".. I haven't ever had a lesson, but I can read sheet music, so that's good enough. Nothing much happened today, and I may have forgotten to take a photo until this evening, so I decided to use the  "look at the shiny piano" card.

Monday, 27 September 2010

Well, I was at college today. This photo was taken to provide evidence that John's mini me in the lower year finally made himself a friend. But but the time I got to my phone they were rather far away in the distance, so it proved to be a very dull photo on a very dull day of a pretty dull scene. So I edited it and made it go funny colours.

26/09/10
It rained basically all day today, again. Well, I say rain but it wasn't really rain, it was that pathetic form of rain otherwise known as drizzle, which I hate. It is the most boring miserable weather imaginable.

25/09/10
Today I went to the Norwich livestock market, oh the exciting life I lead :)
Though I have to say, that is an impressive double muscled cal

The first of many.

I took this in the Chemistry lab yesterday. This is what we call Reflux. When I took this i'd completely forgotten about the whole "photo a day" idea, but it seems a good a place as any to start.
